AREA 1

Sims Street: A man was seen trying to open vehicle doors on the 16900 block at 1:07 a.m. Sunday.

Blanton Street: Bikes were discovered stolen from an apartment carport on the 16800 block at 10:53 a.m. Sunday.

Goldenwest Street: Someone reported a suspicious briefcase was left at a bus stop on the 15700 block at 11:24 a.m. Sunday. The briefcase was found to contain office supplies.

Holt Avenue: Someone reported identity theft and said they suspected their former roommate on the 7800 block at 12:09 p.m. Sunday.

Ashwood Lane: A self-described federal agent said a woman who was stalking him lay in front of his driveway on the 16800 block at 4:20 p.m. Sunday.

Goldenwest Street: Two teenage brothers were fist fighting on the 16500 block at 11:46 a.m. Saturday.

La Salle Drive: A mailman was threatened by a loose German Shepherd on the 15300 block at 1:18 p.m. Saturday.

Willett Lane at Hooker Drive: Several people reported a car fire beginning at 2:05 p.m. Saturday.

Beach Boulevard: Several men fought over gas money at a service station on the 16900 block at 4:42 p.m. Saturday.

Maddox Drive at Kellog Circle: A woman defecated onto the curb then drove away in her van at 5:14 p.m. Saturday. She was later intercepted by police and told to clean up her mess.

Warner Avenue: A Honda Civic was stolen from the 7700 block at 5:23 p.m. Saturday.

Computer Lane: An employee said a coworker threw a knife at them on the 15500 block at 10:35 a.m. Friday.

AREA 2

Pinehurst Lane: A woman found a young man attempting to steal a bike from her garage on the 17100 block at 1:27 a.m. Sunday.

Beach Boulevard: A screaming woman at a convenience store said a rattlesnake was climbing on her, and she had to take off her clothes to remove it, on the 18900 block at 3:48 a.m. Sunday. Employees said they didn’t see a snake; another caller said a naked woman was in the store restroom later.

Holland Drive: A girl’s beach cruiser was discovered stolen from a home on the 8000 block at 9:43 a.m. Sunday.

Kenwick Circle: A resident said lipstick was used to write words like “slut” and “whore” about their daughter on their driveway on the 5900 block at 4:03 p.m. Sunday.

Almelo Lane: Police assisted two teens in retrieving possessions from their uncooperative father’s home on the 17300 block at 4:41 p.m. Sunday.

Warner Avenue: About a dozen people were seen fighting by multiple callers on the 7800 block beginning at 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

Beach Boulevard: Someone stole about $900 in hair care products from a salon on the 18800 block at 8:18 a.m. Saturday.

Talbert Avenue: Library security detained a man who had a history of following someone around and masturbating on the 7100 block at 3:22 p.m. Saturday.

AREA 3

Beach Boulevard: Store employees said a female transient threatened to kill one of them on the 19500 block at 12:20 a.m. Sunday.

2nd Street: Two juveniles were seen smoking pot in an alley on the 200 block at 4:46 p.m. Sunday.

Lake Street: Juveniles tried to steal a resident’s mailbox on the 600 block at 6:32 p.m. Sunday.

Main Street: An off-duty officer said they saw a bloody man with a knife wandering on the 200 block at 8:17 p.m. Sunday.

Main Street: A woman said her boyfriend hit her, threw her down and spit on her before driving away on the 700 block at 12:55 a.m. Saturday.

Pacific Coast Highway: Several people reported a large fire at a doughnut shop on the 600 block beginning at 3:17 a.m. Saturday.

Main Street: Police investigated where a white dump truck was beaten with a ball-peen hammer on the 2000 block at 1:31 p.m. Friday.

AREA 4

Deervale Lane: A neighbor said a party erupted into fistfights on the 20200 block at 12:03 a.m. Sunday.

Catamaran Lane: A woman said someone was pounding on her door and threatening to kill her on the 20700 block at 12:20 a.m. Sunday. The day before, she said someone had posed as a UPS driver and tried the knob of her front door, and forced their way into the house later. Police found no evidence of forced entry.

New Britain Lane: Someone was banging on a residential door on the 20000 block at 2:53 a.m. Sunday. The resident found their car window smashed the next morning.

Cape Coral Circle: Someone saw their vehicle was broken into, with what appeared to be blood nearby, on the 21000 block at 8:34 a.m. Sunday. CSI determined the blood was actually paint.

Atlanta Avenue at Beach Boulevard: Two men were seen fighting at 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

Eastwood Circle: A resident said their female neighbor left her house and walked around completely nude on the 20200 block at 7:58 p.m. Sunday.

Vermont Lane: A man and woman were seen fighting on the 19800 block at 12:08 a.m. Saturday.

Coventry Lane: A resident brought the woman from the above fight into their home; the man she was fighting with spit on the resident and tried to enter their house on the 19700 block at 12:16 a.m. Saturday.

Racepoint Drive: A BMW’s windows were found smashed, with a DVD player stolen, on the 8100 block at 5:07 p.m. Friday.

AREA 5

Oak Street: A vehicle burglary was reported from the 17200 block at 7:12 a.m. Monday.

Santa Carlotta Street: A vehicle burglary was reported from the 18400 block at 7:17 a.m. Monday.

Santa Lucia Street: A vehicle burglary was reported on the 17300 block at 10:35 a.m. Sunday.

AREA 6

Brookhurst Street: Police were requested to keep the peace at a diner on the 16200 block at 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Carnation Avenue: Identity theft was reported from a residence on the 9500 block at 3:07 p.m. Sunday.

Kalama River Avenue: Police apprehended a shoplifter in custody at an electronics store on the 10800 block at 5:55 p.m. Sunday.

Slater Avenue: A vehicular burglary was reported from an inn on the 9900 block at 7:13 a.m. Sunday.
