The signature fundraiser of the Junior League of Orange County celebrates its 33rd anniversary with the theme “A Holiday to Remember.”

Shop from more than 120 exhibitors and vendors. You can attend an Evening of Food & Wine ($75) from 6 to 10 tonight.

At the Christmas Company you’ll find everything from women’s fashions to children’s clothing and books, home decor, gardening items and gourmet foods, as well as holiday decor. Women’s clothing, jewelry and accessories include lines from Slater and Sloane, Sassy Stars, Shelleys Fashions, Accessor Eyes, Hippie Chix Studio, Little Miss Bling Bling, The Cherished Accessory, Lu Ping Pearls, Cookie Lee Fine Fashion Jewelry, Ronelle Designs, Safia, Kate Joiner, and Paco Soler. Children’s items such as books, clothing, toys and accessories come from A Whale of a Tale, Pizzazzing You, Dollites, Baby Ally, Bellas Dream, Hopscotch Designs, and Prima Collections.

Gourmet foods, dishes and cookware come from a Store For Cooks, Knife Nitch, Cherchies, Iveta Gourmet, and Davis Mountain Nuts. Home and garden items come from Lavender Blue, English Gardenstone and A Room to View.

General admission is $10. You can shop from 11 to 10 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are available at the door, online at www.jlocc.org or at (949) 263-3785. Orange County Fair & Exposition Center, at Fair Drive and the 55 Freeway in Costa Mesa.

Shop for a cause

Celebrate the holiday shopping season with a special charitable shopping event from 5 to 8 tonight at The Assistance League of Newport Mesa’s popular Thrift Shop and Treasures on Consignment store. Both stores are stocked with special holiday decorations, gifts and home accessories.

Treasures on Consignment offers upscale antiques and collectibles, vintage gifts and furniture while the Thrift Shop features gifts, toys, clothes, holiday decorations and household items. The event costs $5.

All proceeds benefit the Assistance League’s philanthropic projects, including the Cheri Harris Childrens Dental Health Center, Operation School Bell, Kids on the Block and their Community Outreach Program.
