Orange Empire Conference Championships
COSTA MESA — Orange Coast College won the men’s and women’s team titles Saturday at Fairview Park.
It was the 13th straight conference crown for the women, led by individual winner Crystal Reed, a sophomore who ran the 3.1-mile race in 18 minutes, 35.2 seconds.
OCC freshman Russell Westphal won the men’s four-mile race in 20:08.7.
Both teams advance to the Southern California finals Friday in Bakersfield.

NORTHRIDGE — Kari Pestolesi’s 16 kills paced the Anteaters to a 20-25, 25-18, 25-18, 25-21 Big West Conference triumph Saturday.

COSTA MESA — Junior Jessica Roy had 13 kills to pace the Lions to a 25-15, 25-15, 26-24 Golden State Athletic Conference home win Saturday.
Roy, an Orange Coast College product, hit .688 for the No. 16-ranked winners (14-7, 9-7 in conference).

HAVRE, Mont. — Junior Rachel Copeland made eight of the Lions’ 16 three-pointers Saturday as they moved to 3-0.
Copeland finished with 26 points to lead four Lions in double figures.

STANFORD — Junior Greg Enloe scored three goals to lead the Anteaters in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation game Saturday.
No. 9-ranked UCI fell to 9-9, 0-3 in conference.
