Patricia Ann Thompson (Holman)

Born in Pittsburgh PA in 1954, Patty grew up in Penn Hills PA as a member of Zion Lutheran Church. After a courageous battle with ovarian cancer, she died October 31, 2008 at home in Costa Mesa, California where she lived since 1980. She was the daughter of the late William M. and Bernice C. Holman. She is survived by her loving husband Daniel and sons Keith and Shane, brother James Holman (Judy) and a vast multitude of in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives on the east and west coast.

Patty was and is loved by many whose lives she touched. She always remained strong in her faith, family and friends. Never to complain of her own discomfort or troubles, even as she approached the end of her life, Patty will remain as an inspiration and a rock of strength to all who knew her.

There is no visitation. Services celebrating Patty’s life will be held at 10 AM on November 6th, 2008 at Sts. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 20444 Magnolia Street, Huntington Beach, CA 92646.

In lieu of flowers, donations are accepted in Patty’s name to Children’s Hospital of Orange County, 455 S. Main St. Orange, CA 92868-3874, or to the Shane Thompson Scholarship Fund.
