Breakers well represented in CIF-SS polls

The CIF Southern Section office in Los Alamitos released its weekly rankings Monday for football, girls’ volleyball, boys’ water polo, girls’ tennis and boys’ and girls’ cross-country.

In the boys’ cross-country poll, Laguna “” which began the season ranked No. 1 in Division IV “” has been supplanted in the top spot by Big Bear, which last week was ranked second. The Breakers traded spots with the Bears and are now ranked second.

In girls’ cross-country, Laguna rose from seventh to fifth in the Division IV poll.

In the boys’ Division III water polo poll, Laguna held down its preseason ranking of No. 4.
