Dave Mohs tourney to feature 64 teams this year

The 30th edition of the Dave Mohs Tournament begins Friday at six local high schools.
Sixty-four teams are entered into the three-day event that continues Saturday and concludes with Monday’s championship-round action. The teams are split equally into two divisions.
“It will be a high-level tournament featuring teams from Southern California, Arizona and Utah,†Edison Coach Trent Jackson said.
Divison I games will be played at the Huntington Beach, Newport Harbor and Corona del Mar gymnasiums.
Division II game sites are Marina, Fountain Valley and Costa Mesa. The finals will be played Monday at the Huntington Beach High gym.
