Harbor attempts to stay perfect in clash with rivals

LAGUNA NIGUEL — The Newport Harbor High girls’ golf team prepped for its Back Bay clash today with its sixth straight win Wednesday at El Niguel Country Club.

Tiffany Kane led the Sailors (6-0), earning medalist honors with a score of six-over-par 42. Lauren Draganza followed with a 43, while Morgan Moody and Ali Thomas were just behind with both shooting 45. Lindsay Hanna rounded out the scoring for Newport Harbor with a 46.

Now the Sailors turn their attention to Corona del Mar, which will play host to today’s matchup at Newport Beach Country Club at 2:30 p.m.

Newport Harbor beat the Sea Kings on the first nine holes at Santa Ana Country Club last week, 215-236. Draganza shot the low that time with five-over 41.
