Making Main Street Plein
Three dozen artists are confirmed to participate in this year’s Plein Air Festival at the Huntington Beach Art Center, 538 Main St.
Art produced by the painters, who were juried into the exhibition, will be on view through Sept. 21.
From 7 to 9 tonight artist, lecturer and teacher Susan Cohn will speak about “Personalizing Your Space: How to Collect the Right Art.”
From 7 to 9 p.m. Friday the center will host a preview reception and wine tasting.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday artists will be at work painting the first two blocks of Main Street, while visitors watch.
From 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, psychic medium and author Michael Kouri will present “Ghostly Encounters with California Impressionist Painters.”
Kouri has also given historical ghost tours of Huntington Beach. All events are free and open to the public.
