COSTA MESA — Sophomore Danielle Dintino scored in the 37th minute and junior goalie Jillian Foss made one save in the nonconference clash Monday at Vanguard.
It was the fourth goal in four games this season for Dentino, who also has two assists for the Lions (4-0), who outshot the visitors, 19-3.
La Sierra fell to 0-3.

COSTA MESA — Three Lions came off the bench to score in the nonconference match Monday at Vanguard.
Freshmen Scott Roquemore and Albert Quinones, as well as sophomore Victor Tapia found the net to supplement goals from starters Ryan Kenney, a sophomore, and Ryan Marquez, a junior.
Sophomore starter Trevor Herrera and freshman Cody Adams each made one save to combine for the shutout.
Vanguard is now 1-1.
La Sierra is 1-2.
