McMillan Tournament

The Huntington Beach AYSO 56, U13, APP boys played their hearts out in the Costa Mesa McMillan Tournament on the last weekend of August.

They battled their way through a defensive duel that resulted in a scoreless game on Sunday. They tied in the first round of shoot-outs, only to lose to Costa Mesa 1-0 in the second round of the semi-finals. High scorers in the tourney were Chris Horner and Alex Buyan. The team: Ryan Andrews, Matthew Arnold, Cameron Bauer, Alex Buyan, Chris Coffman, Colin Douglass, Ryan Fishel, Christian Heffleman, Chris Horner, David Knight, Matthew Malane, Juan-Pablo Murcia, James Papst and Michael Taylor. Coaches: Dennis Taylor, Roy Heffleman and Cameron Andrews.
