Grand opening set for another Measure F project

TeWinkle Middle School will have a grand opening ceremony for its new gym next week, a celebration of another project supported by Measure F.

The grand opening celebration will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the school in Costa Mesa.

The gym was part of 10 projects slated to be supported by the $282-million bond measure, Measure F, and was one of the first projects to be cleared and paid for by the measure. Newport Harbor High School, Estancia High School and elementary school science classrooms were among the other areas that received funding first.
