Debate with candidates to be replayed on television

Costa Mesans who missed the first City Council debate of the year can watch it on the city’s website or on the municipal television station.

Airing through September, the entire two-hour Mesa Verde Inc. Candidates’ Forum will run on Time Warner Cable Channel 24 and AT&T; Channel 99, four times each week.

All nine candidates for the three open council seats participated in the debate. Showtimes are 5 p.m. Thursdays, 5 p.m. Saturdays, 10 a.m. Sundays and 4 p.m. Mondays.

The debate scheduled for 6 p.m. Oct. 15 will air live on the municipal TV station, and then will most likely replace the Mesa Verde Inc. forum, playing in the same time slots.
