The arraignment for the latest man prosecutors have charged with being involved in a late July bar fight in Newport Beach has been rescheduled for September.
Rodrigo Requejo, 34, of Westminster, is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 8 at the Harbor Justice Center in Newport Beach on felony charges of assault and battery and street terrorism.
Police say Requejo was one of at least three Hells Angels who were involved in a fight with members of a rival biker gang, the Set Free Soldiers, inside the Newport Beach bar Blackie’s By The Sea.
In the fight two Hells Angels were stabbed and one Set Free Soldier’s head was struck with a billiard ball, authorities said.
Seven people have appeared in court for the fight so far, with an eighth man, Brian Heslington, 35, of Costa Mesa, charged but still waiting for a court date, according to prosecutors.
