City taking applications for positions on committees
- Share via
The city of Costa Mesa is accepting applications for about a dozen positions on four committees that will soon be vacant.
The Redevelopment and Residential Rehabilitation Committee, known as the 3R Committee, has the most seats that will soon be vacant. Six positions will need to be filled on the committee, which makes recommendations to the City Council on how to spend about $2 million in federal funds every year, in addition to other duties.
Three other committees will also have vacancies. The Historical Preservation Committee is looking for three members, the Cultural Arts Committee needs one, and the Child Care and Youth Services Committee needs one member and two alternates.
The City Council will choose from the pool of applicants. Those interested can get forms from the city manager’s office in City Hall or ci.costa-mesa.ca.us. Forms can be submitted until 5 p.m. Sept. 19.
