Beverly E Carlson

The gracious and vivacious Beverly E. Carlson, 83, passed away from cancer of unknown origin August 1, 2008 in her home.

Born February 21, 1925 in St. Paul, MN. Beverly was predeceased by her parents Arvid and Emma Melquist, as well as her sister Betty Payne. She is survived by her two daughters, Arlene Carlson (Jennifer) and Deborah Carlson who were at her side when she died, her partner of over 30 years, J. Trent Harmon, brother Wayne Melquist, nieces Judy Vacquier (Victor), Suzi Smith (James), Pat, nephew Tom Payne (Pam), grandnephews Paul and Mark, grandniece Linsey and Sarah, grandchildren Andrew Morss (Angela) and Jennifer Morss (Tom Dunn) and 3 great-grandchildren Robert, Paul and Katherine. Beverly “adopted” numerous adult children who called her “Mom” – Bill, Hope, Jen, Michael, Tom.

Beverly was grateful for her many memories of travels throughout the world as well as loving times with family and friends. She also thoroughly enjoyed her employment with the County of Orange as a Budget Analyst for many years.

A celebration of life will be held August 31, 2008.
