POLICE FILES: Woman reportedly steals box of cash from pedestrian

Pacific Coast Highway: A man walking down the street with a box of money was reportedly accosted by a woman who yelled, “Don’t you want to buy me beer?” and ran off with the cash in the 17200 block at 6:29 p.m. Saturday.

Edinger Avenue: A car was reportedly burglarized in the 7700 block at 1:28 a.m. Monday.

Pipeline Lane: Someone reportedly broke into a business by cutting off a lock and then stole merchandise in the 15100 block at 8:06 a.m. Monday.
Viewpoint Lane: A group of unsupervised youths attacking a vending machine, breaking a window and destroying plants were reported in the 16700 block at 9:22 p.m. Monday

Betty Drive: Someone passing counterfeit checks was reported in the 7100 block at 2:40 p.m. Monday.
Edwards Street and Talbert Avenue: A group of kids and teens throwing rocks and water bottles at cars was reported at 2:48 a.m. Sunday.
Stanley Walk: A Pontiac sport utility vehicle was reported stolen in the 17000 block at 6:58 a.m. Monday.

A Street: Someone reportedly threw a rock through a window and hit a woman in the shoulder in the 17000 block at 11:27 a.m. Saturday.
Goldenwest Street and Olive Avenue: A car’s back license plate was reportedly switched with some other car’s plate at 11:46 a.m. Sunday.

Goshawk Lane: Petty theft of a global positioning system out of a truck was reported in the 20600 block at 7:03 a.m. Monday.

El Lago Circle: Grand theft was reported in the 8700 block at 2:37 p.m. Monday.
