Costa Mesa police are on the lookout for a man who held up a Circle K store at gunpoint and made off with cash from the register late last week.
At 11:27 p.m. on July 16, a man about 21 years old, wearing a dark blue shirt and black jeans, entered the store at 3067 Bristol St. and brandished a gun at the lone clerk, Sgt. Bryan Glass said. The clerk gave the cash in the register to the man, who then fled on foot and was last seen running west down Paularino Avenue, Glass said.
Glass would not disclose how much had been taken from the register. Police have no suspects in the robbery, he said.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police at (714) 754-5363.
