Dane Williams reward doubles with Hurley addition
The reward has been doubled in the unsolved death of 23-year-old Huntington Beach resident Dane Williams.
Hurley International, where Williams worked as a marketing intern, added $10,000 to the reward for information leading to a felony arrest in Williams’ case, which makes the total reward $20,000.
The remaining $10,000 was anted up by Jack’s Surfboards and San Diego County Crime Stoppers.
Hurley donated an additional $15,000 on top of the reward money in April, which Crime Stoppers is holding for future efforts, officials said.
Williams was last seen Jan. 26 leaving a nightclub in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego before he was found dead three days later in a City Heights neighborhood alley.
Those with any information are encouraged to call investigators at (619) 531-2293. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
