Share Our Selves receives $2,100 donation
Costa Mesa-based charity Share Our Selves recently received a $2,100 donation from one of the largest coffee companies in North America.
Massachusetts-based Filterfresh Coffee Services Inc. had its annual planning meeting at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach this week. The company donated the entry fees from a company golf tournament at the hotel’s golf course to Share Our Selves, which provides medical and dental care, and numerous other social services to the working poor in Orange County.
David Larimer, president of Filterfresh, grew up in Costa Mesa. He first became aware of Share Our Selves through a family friend, Donald Drake, who served as the charity’s first medical director.
