A Foothill Ranch man was arrested following a large fight outside the Ocean Avenue Brewery at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Kravetz said.

“We arrived and people were fleeing the scene,” Kravetz said. The officers found two men hiding behind a dumpster in the area, and when police attempted to contact the individuals, they fled. Officers chased them, and one of the suspects got into a fight with the officer, and a Taser was used to subdue him.

Woman arrested in incident at gas station

Donna Lynn Trautmann, 46, of Laguna Beach was charged with a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest at 10:31 p.m. June 20 at a Chevron station in the 600 block of South Coast Highway, Laguna Beach Police Sgt. Jason Kravetz said.

Trautmann allegedly was blocking the entrance to the station with her vehicle, and arguing with the driver of another car, Kravetz said.

After police arrived, Trautmann was uncooperative with the officers and responded with “vulgar language” when they asked her what happened, Kravetz alleged. She also allegedly refused to provide her driver’s license or to discuss the incident. Police brought her to headquarters, booked her and released her on her own recognizance.

Jail rejects intoxicated homeless man as inmate

A 59-year-old homeless man was taken into custody on a public intoxication warrant after being found asleep on a bench at 12:35 a.m. June 19 in the 600 block of South Coast Highway, Kravetz said.

Marc Fleming was taken to Orange County jail, where the jailers refused to accept him as an inmate because of an unstated medical condition, Kravetz said.

Laguna Beach police decided to let Fleming go rather than hold him on the $500 warrant.

‘Road rage’ incident follows minor collision

A minor rear-end collision on Laguna Canyon Road escalated into an accusation of assault when one woman called police, accusing another woman of trying to run her over while she was taking pictures of the woman’s vehicle at 3:56 p.m. June 19 at Canyon Acres Drive, Kravetz said.

Police consider the accusation to be a “road rage” incident and are not pursuing an investigation, Kravetz said.
