JEAN OAKLEY WOODWARD

Jean Oakley Woodward passed away on May 18, 2008 at the age of 88 in Eagle, Idaho. Born September 1, 1919 in Los Angeles, and graduated from U. C. Berkeley in 1941, her lifelong passions were tennis, gardening, bridge, traveling and her family and friends. She lived in Newport Beach for 43 years before moving to Idaho in 2003. She is survived by children Chris Woodward and wife Sue of Oakland, CA, and grandsons Alex, Jamie and Drew; Judi Archbold and husband Scott of Eagle, ID, and grandsons David, Rob and Bryan; and Rick Woodward and wife Margot of Orinda, CA, and granddaughters Katie and Brooke. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Hoyt of Walnut Creek, CA, and brother Dick Oakley and wife Karen of Green Valley, AZ. Jean will be buried with her beloved husband Bob at the Presidio National Military Cemetery in San Francisco.
