Intervention workshops coming to New Directions for Women

COSTA MESA -- Host of A&E;’s top-rated show “Intervention,” Ken Seeley, will visit the New Directions for Women campus for a series of free intervention community workshops beginningat 10 a.m. June 24 and continuing the fourth Saturday of each month.
The free workshops will be on the New Directions for Women campus at 2607 Willo Ave. in Costa Mesa.
Ken Seeley has been professionally and personally involved in the recovery community for more than 17 years. Ken applies his own life experience and personal history of addiction and recovery and natural enthusiasm to help change the lives of those suffering with personal addiction or the addiction of a loved one. Certified by the National Assn. of Drug and Alcohol Interventionists, Ken has been clean and sober since July 14, 1989. Since then, he has worked full-time in the business of recovery in different capacities but with the most gratification from the hundreds of interventions he has conducted, organized or facilitated through the creation of intervention911.com and his recent television work.
For 30 years, New Directions for Women has served the community as a nonprofit residential treatment facility in Costa Mesa that assists women, families and their children to achieve sustained, responsible recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
