Heil Avenue: A vandalized minivan, smeared with feces and covered in obscenities, with sugar in the gas tank, was reported in the 4900 block at 8:46 a.m. Monday.

Green Street: A resident reportedly came back to his car and found three people inside trying to pull out his car stereo in the 16600 block at 3:36 a.m.

Springdale Street: Someone cut water lines leading into a building and walked off with the pipes, worth $1,000, according to police reports. The theft was reported in the 15600 block at 11:26 a.m. Monday.

Area 2

Warner Avenue: A person reportedly dropped cartons of a suspected illegal substance into a trash bin in the 7200 block at 6:18 p.m. Monday, but police found it was only old cooking oil.

Warner Avenue: Someone cut a hole in the roof of a store, then stole thousands of dollars in Mexico calling cards, hundreds of dollars from the cash register, and pried open an ATM and emptied a piggy bank. The burglary was reported in the 7400 block at 8:18 a.m. Sunday.

Pacific Coast Highway and 1st Street: Narcotics activity was reported at 6:18 p.m. Sunday.

Santiago Drive: Identity theft was reported in the 9100 block at 2:11 p.m. Monday.

Waterfall Circle: A stolen Honda Civic was reported in the 7900 block at 1:02 p.m. Saturday.
