The Westin South Coast Plaza is trumpeting a brand new renovation its directors say will stimulate all five of the senses.
The $22-million project, which remodeled everything “seen, felt, touched, heard and tasted” on the property, is a new project Michael Mustafa, the hotel’s director of sales and marketing, hopes will have guests leaving rejuvenated and relaxed.
Additions include new color schemes, subtle music broadcast throughout the facility, and even a new scent custom-designed by the hotel (“White Tea”) chosen for its “relaxing properties.”
“Visually, you arrive and see something stimulating, whether it’s the botanicals, the lighting, or the scent,” Mustafa said. “We want to enhance every aspect of your arrival, stay and departure process.”
