A number of people from Huntington Beach plan to hold a rally Sunday in the area of San Diego where Huntington Beach resident Dane Williams went missing.
Williams, a Hurley marketing intern, went to San Diego in late January for a convention. After a night out with co-workers, he vanished. His body turned up miles away three days later. No cause of death has been determined, and no witnesses have stepped forward.
Rally participants plan to walk the streets asking people for information on Williams’ whereabouts in the hours after he was last seen. Participants are instructed to bring signs. The rally is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. in the downtown Gaslamp district.
