A UCI professor will talk about immigration issues at 6 p.m. Thursday at the University Club Library at UCI.
Louis DeSipio, chairman of the Chicano/Latino studies department, will discuss the different forms immigration reform can and may take, and offer analysis into possible solutions.
DeSipio recently published a new book, “Counting on the Latino Vote: Latinos as a New Electorate,” which analyzes the ethnic group’s voting behavior and role in politics.
Guests must make a reservation prior to the date due to limited seating for the $40 event.
For those interested in attending, call Kathleen McDonald at (949) 824-1659.
