BREAKING NEWS:

Costa Mesa police have released a sketch of a suspect in the rape of a prostitute at the intersection of Harbor and MacArthur boulevards last week, urging residents who believe they recognize the man to come forward.

Police describe the suspect as a Latino in his late 20s with a medium build, mustache and thin beard who suffered visible injuries to his face, eyes and lower lip during the attack.

At the time of the incident, the male was driving a Maroon Toyota-type pickup truck with a black rack in the bed.
