Manager of Midas shop in Laguna gets big honor

Jim Blaschke, manager of the Midas automotive service shop at 1251 N. Coast Hwy. in Laguna Beach, was selected as one of 50 Midas President’s Award winners in North America for the shop’s excellence in performance for 2007. The competition ranked Midas’ shops in the U.S. and Canada on their scores for customer satisfaction, customer retention and retail sales growth.

Blaschke was honored at the recent Midas dealers convention in Atlanta, where he received the award from Alan D. Feldman, Midas’ chairman and chief executive.
