Football camp begins Monday

A Spring Football Skills Camp will run Monday through Wednesday at Guyer Field at Laguna Beach High.

The camp will take place between 9 a.m. and noon on those three days and is open to youth in third through eighth grades.

Participants in the no-contact football skills camp will learn blocking and tackling forms as well as defensive and special teams position skills. Fundaments will be taught and executed during flag scrimmages.

Each participant will receive a Laguna Beach football T-shirt but is required to bring athletic shorts, mouth guard and cleats, plus snacks and sufficient amount of water for each day of camp.

The cost is $105 per camper and $53 per additional family member.
