Who was your favorite ‘Idol’ singer? Vote online

It’s not too late to vote for your favorite “Daily Pilot Idol” contestant.

The Pilot has a little contest of sorts on dailypilot.com that allows readers to vote on five local contestants who participated in SongBurst, a karaoke-style singing competition held Saturday at the Orange County Fairgrounds. We’ve posted videos of each one singing, and you can vote for your favorite through Monday. We will announce the winner Tuesday.

Although all five of the contestants from the Newport-Mesa area qualified for the finals, none of them won awards. But with your help one of them can win our booby prize.
