Artscenter’s new schedule to have ‘balance of artists’

The Orange County Performing Artscenter released its 2008-09 schedule this week, featuring a number of Broadway, musical and dance acts.

“Our 2008-09 season is a great balance of artists and companies that our audiences have gotten to know in previous seasons, along with many new performers and shows that we are proud to present for the first time,” Terrence W. Dwyer, the center’s president, said in a statement. “The center is here to enrich the lives of our large and diverse community with the immediacy and intensity that only live performance offers.”

Those seeking to renew their subscriptions will receive mailed information soon, the center said.
