Pop Warner Football sign ups April 26
Huntington Beach Pop Warner Football will hold its next sign-up session for its 2008 fall season April 26.
Registration for both players and cheerleaders will be taken between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Edison High.
League divisions are as follows (age as of July 31, 2008): Cub (flag football), ages 5-6; Jr. Mighty Mite (ages 7-8); Mighty Mite (ages 8-9); Jr. Pee Wee (ages 8-11); Pee Wee (ages 9-12); Jr. Midget (ages 10-13); Midget (ages 11-15).
All players and cheerleaders, with the exception of those in the Cub Division, must carry a minimum 2.0 GPA in order to participate in the league.

Locals grace latest CIF spring sports polls
Marina, Ocean View and Edison each have one spring sports team ranked among the top 10 in this week’s CIF-Southern Section polls.
Two of those teams are ranked in softball with Marina coming in at No. 5 in the Division I poll and Ocean View at No. 7 in the Division IV poll.
