Prosecutors will not press charges against USC defensive tackle Fili Moala after he was arrested on suspicion of resisting and obstructing a police officer.
Moala was arrested Sunday after police were called to break up a brawl at Hogue Barmichael’s restaurant and bar in Newport Beach.
The football player ran from the parking lot back into the bar after police gave some patrons an order to get on the ground, Police Sgt. Evan Sailor said.
But prosecutors said that they had insufficient evidence to press charges.
