Mesa’s Briseño named league’s goalie of the year

Senior goalkeeper German Briseño was named the Orange Coast League’s Goalkeeper of the Year, and two other Mustangs took all-league honors.
Junior Hector Solis and senior Emanuel Castellon were named to the league’s first team.
Costa Mesa finished last in league, with an 1-14 overall record. The Mustangs were 0-9 in league. Briseño had as many as eight saves in two games, and averaged four saves per game on the year.
Sophomore Eric Ronquillo and freshman William Gyorgy were the Mustangs’ two representatives on the second team.
