Sage’s McGee named first-team All-Academy

Sage Hill School senior shooting guard Jamie McGee was named first-team All-Academy League in boys’ basketball after leading the league in scoring at 15.1 points per game.

This is the third straight year McGee has been the league’s top scorer. For the season, he averaged 17.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and two steals per game. He converted 53% of his field-goal attempts and 83% of his free throws.

McGee is a a three-time first-team all-leaguer for the Lightning, who finished 9-16, 5-5 in league and missed the CIF playoffs.

Senior point guard Nick Witte was a second-team pick for the second straight year. He averaged 8.7 points.
