Belle’s family has to move to New York on Saturday without her.
Belle is a beautiful golden American Eskimo-Pomeranian-Poodle mix, which normally wouldn’t be difficult to place, but 9-year-old Belle needs a special home environment on short notice.
“She likes to run and play in the yard and knows her house manners and training commands,” said DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, founder of the Community Animal Network
Belle is somewhat timid and shy of strangers, often hiding when new faces are around, but in public on a leash her fear turns aggressive with close, sudden movements like a jogger running by, Pfaff-Martin said.
“She is not a city dog,” Belle’s current owner said.
Belle needs a new family who enjoys activities at home and can provide a comfortable environment for their pet. Anyone seeking an affectionate lounge lizard can call the Community Animal Network at (949) 533-0411 to consider adopting her.
The Community Animal Network is still seeking the right home for Harley the Chihuahua-Miniature Pincher. Harley will be at the adoption again this weekend.
Community Animal Network has pet adoptions from noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays outside Russo’s Pet Experience in Fashion Island.
