Pacific Coast League Finals
IRVINE — Three wrestlers from Corona del Mar High advanced to the CIF Southern Section Northern Divisional Tournament Saturday.
Sophomore Austin Kaye, senior Max Prescott, and senior Kevin Lineback all placed third in their respective weight classes to advance to the tournament at Pacific of Oxnard Feb. 15-16.
Kaye placed third at 119 pounds, while Prescott advanced at 215 pounds. Lineback competed at 285 pounds.
Sunset League Finals
LOS ALAMITOS — Newport Harbor High senior Josh George won his 36th match to become the Sunset League champion at 140 pounds Saturday. George, (36-3) was one of three Sailors who advanced to the CIF Southern Section Coastal Divisional Feb. 15-16.
Senior Guillermo Perez finished second at 189 pounds, while junior Cameron Rausch took the Sunset League heavyweight title.
Senior Edgar Guadarrama finished fourth at 160 pounds. He will be an alternate for CIF.
