ART WALK

Join more than 40 galleries throughout Laguna Beach on the first Thursday of each month for a festive cultural evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Free shuttle service starts from the Laguna Art Museum and Bluebird Center at 6:15 p.m. and runs until 8:45 p.m. Information: www.firstthursdays artwalk.com or (949) 683-6871. (*Denotes galleries that participate in the First Thursdays Art Walk.) The next Art Walk will be Feb. 7, when the event’s 10th anniversary celebration will be held from 9 to 10:30 p.m. with live music, performances and refreshments. In addition, the city will dedicate a new piece of public art, “Laguna Locals” by Terry Thornsley, at 5 p.m. in Crescent Bay Point Park.

In March, the city will hold an artist reception for Laguna College of Art & Design MFA Student Exhibit at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave., from 5 to 6 p.m.
