IRVINE — The Sea Kings sped out to a 5-0 lead and did not play their starters after the first quarter in a Pacific Coast League game Wednesday.

Senior Allison Peotter, as well as juniors Heather Van Hiel, Victoria Kennedy and Elise Molnar scored two goals each for Corona del Mar (14-5, 3-0 in league).

Sea Kings junior goalie Kate Baldoni recorded 11 saves to lead the defense

Corona del Mar, ranked No. 1 in the CIF Southern Section Division I coaches’ poll, will play host to Montebello, ranked No. 7 in Division I, Saturday at 2 p.m.
