? TUESDAY

Coast Highway: A vehicle was reported burglarized and a $200 loss reported at 8:53 p.m. in the 20400 block.

Laguna Canyon Road: A truck and a car collided and went off an embankment, causing the truck to overturn at 7:52 a.m.; the truck driver was extricated and one person was taken to Mission Hospital near the 73 Toll Road.

North Coast Highway: A water main was hit by a vehicle whose driver was arrested at 11:59 a.m. at Emerald Bay.

Ocean Avenue: A San Juan Capistrano man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at midnight in the 200 block.

Park Avenue: A person was issued a citation for drug possession at 12:40 p.m. at a school in the 600 block.

? MONDAY

Acacia Drive: A window was reported kicked in and a computer stolen at a residence at 11:27 p.m. in the 100 block.

North Coast Highway: A vehicle was reported burglarized at 4:55 p.m. in the underground parking lot at a market in the 30900 block.

South Coast Highway: A Dana Point man was arrested at 12:56 a.m. after a traffic stop in the 700 block.

South Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and another homeless man arrested on a warrant after both were found sleeping in a breezeway at 10:59 p.m. in the 500 block.

Wave Street: A woman called for a ladder to help her climb into her bedroom after locking herself out at 5:21 p.m. in the 200 block.

Wesley Drive: A man accused another man at 5:06 a.m. of punching him in the face the previous night at a homeless shelter at a church in the 21600 block.

? SUNDAY

Madison Place: A pair of $5,000 earrings was reported stolen a week earlier at 11:54 a.m. in the 1000 block.

Oak Street: A Menlo Park man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 12:36 a.m. at South Coast Highway.

Temple Terrace: A San Diego woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 2:15 a.m. in the 1100 block.

Thalia Street: An unidentified flying object was reported at 9:55 p.m. appearing about 200-300 feet over a house in the 700 block.

? SATURDAY

Broadway: A San Clemente man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 2:33 a.m. in the 200 block.

Broadway: A Costa Mesa man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 2:55 p.m. at the bus depot in the 300 block.

Glenneyre Street: A wallet was reported missing at 12:36 p.m. from a car that had been towed the previous day at Legion Street.

Wildwood Road: A gardener accused a juvenile of stealing his leaf blower at 3:34 p.m. at Third Avenue.

? FRIDAY

Brooks Street: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:38 a.m. after a traffic stop in the 200 block.

Chillon Way: A San Pedro cactus valued at $800 was reported cut down at 2:53 p.m. in the 2900 block.

Cypress Drive: A break-in was reported at 11:52 a.m. at an apartment in the 300 block.

Dumond Drive: Lifeguards were called at 2:35 p.m. to rescue a swimmer at Victoria Beach.

Irvine Cove Drive: A woman reported an egg was thrown at her car at 9:42 p.m. in the 100 block.

Laguna Canyon Road: A man reportedly struck another man at 7:17 p.m. in the 20000 block.

Mountain Road: A Dana Point man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession at 7:49 p.m. in the 300 block.

Pearl Street: A San Juan Capistrano man was arrested at 9:35 p.m. on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop in the 100 block.

South Coast Highway: A Huntington Beach man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession at 12:21 a.m. after being stopped by police in the 1400 block.

South Coast Highway: A report of defrauding an innkeeper was made at 2:25 p.m. at a motel in the 800 block.

? THURSDAY

Cliff Drive: A citation was issued at 2:32 p.m. for taking mussels in the 600 block at Diver’s Cove.

Cliff Drive: A citation was issued at 3:05 p.m. for taking mussels in the 1000 block at Shaw’s Cove.

Cress Street: A Laguna Beach man was arrested at 2:25 a.m. on suspicion of DUI in the 400 block.

Mystic Way: $1,000 worth of construction tools were reported stolen at 10:20 a.m. over the holidays in the 600 block.

Third Avenue: Police responded at 2:02 p.m. to reports that a woman was firing a gun into the air, and determined it was a pellet gun after closing a road and investigating the incident in the 31000 block.

? WEDNESDAY

Canyon View Drive: A woman reported a man peering at her taking a shower through a window at 8:40 a.m. in the 600 block.

Cliff Drive: An assault was reported at 12:21 a.m. in the 300 block of Heisler Park.

Cliff Drive: A homeless man and a Westminster man were arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 4:20 p.m. in the 300 block.

Ocean Avenue: A man was reported hit in a crosswalk by a driver who did not stop at 3:55 p.m. at Beach Street.
