Down the rabbit hole at Thurston

A precocious young girl find herself in a magical realm this weekend at Thurston Middle School when its Junior Park Avenue Players put on the second and final weekend of their winter musical, “Alice in Wonderland.”

The titular character will have run-ins with familiar favorites including the White Rabbit, the Caterpillar and the Queen of Hearts in the Black Box Theatre, complete with professional-quality costumes, singing and dancing.

The show is directed by Mark Dressler, with musical direction by Roxanna Ward and choreography by Erika Whalen.
