Girls’ soccer teams face key league games at home

Today brings several important league games for area girls’ soccer teams, namely Costa Mesa. The Mustangs will play host to Calvary Chapel today at 3 p.m.
The Eagles are 12-5-1 this season, and 1-1 in league. They beat Laguna Beach but lost to Estancia. Costa Mesa, the defending Orange Coast League champion, has posted two ties against the same teams.
Corona del Mar will attempt to staunch at two-game slide against University at Las Lomas Community Park in Irvine at 3:15 p.m., while Laguna Beach tries to get its first Orange Coast League win at Estancia at 3 p.m.
