LAGUNA BEACH — Junior Amy Gentling led the Mustangs with 17 points in an Orange Coast League victory over the Breakers Wednesday night.

Senior Michelle Figueroa followed with 12 points, while senior Kathy Trinh added 11 points for the Mustangs (11-6, 2-0 in league), ranked No. 3 in the CIF Southern Section Division IV-AA coaches’ poll.

Costa Mesa will play at Calvary Chapel Friday at 6 p.m.

CORONA DEL MAR — Junior Leslee Kaczmarek led the Sea Kings with three goals in Wednesday’s Pacific Coast League victory over Laguna Hills as CdM (12-5) extended its winning streak to seven.

Junior Heather Van Hiel added two goals for the Sea Kings, who are ranked No. 2 in the CIF Division I coaches’ poll.

CdM will play Foothill at Beckman Saturday at 11a.m.
