Costa Mesa 10, Sage Hill 3
CORONA DEL MAR — Juniors Briana Williams and Ashley Rendon scored three goals apiece for the visiting Mustangs in the Orange Coast League game played Saturday at Corona del Mar High.
Sophomore goalkeeper Danielle Bowen had five saves and three assists, while sophomore Hannah Speer had three steals, one assist and help Sage’s primary two-meter player scoreless with her strong defense.
Junior Dylan Conroy scored three goals, while junior goalie Jordan Smith-Newman had six saves for the Lightning.
The Mustangs improved to 8-15, 1-0 in league, while Sage Hill is 6-4, 0-1.

IRVINE — Junior Richard De St. Jean scored three goals and had three assists in Newport Harbor’s first varsity game after being moved up from junior varsity play, Monday at the 949 Hockey Center in Irvine.
Roller hockey is a club sport.
Seniors Dusty Campbell and Cam Monahan, as well as sophomore Ryan Iverson scored to goals each. Junior Ryan Panella and sophomore Cody Campbell had two assists each, while sophomore goaltender Tony Nasca finished with 20 saves for Newport Harbor (7-1).
