COSTA MESA — Senior Paolo Iaccarino scored a goal and produced an assist for the Sea Kings in a nonleague win Wednesday at Costa Mesa.

Sophomore Reed Williams finished off an assist from Iaccarino 15 minutes into the game to help give CdM (2-4-2) a 1-0 lead at the half.

With about 12 minutes remaining, Iaccarino scored on a one-on-one breakaway. Junior goalie Zak Maurer-Erickson recorded fives aves for Corona del Mar.

The Sea Kings will play host to Back Bay rival Newport Harbor Friday at 3 p.m.

NEWPORT BEACH — Sailors’ junior Innocente Tellez scored in the fifth minute on a throw-in from sophomore forward Dillan Freiberg in the nonleague game Wednesday.

Senior forward Will Reichenstein and senior midfielder Eric Guevera split time at goalkeeper for the Sailors (1-4-1). Newport Harbor will play at Corona del Mar for the Battle of the Bay Friday at 3 p.m.

TUSTIN — Junior forward Jose Reyes had two goals and an assist in the Eagles’ nonleague win at Tustin Wednesday afternoon, while sophomore center midfielder Ricky Gomez recorded two assists.

Reyes headed in a ball from Gomez twice, once in the eighth minute and again in the 16th minute, before passing the ball to senior midfielder Juan Becerra for the Eagles’ third goal of the game.

Junior forward Tony Flores scored a one-on-one goal for the Eagles (3-3-3) in the 68h minute. Estancia will play host to Westminster Friday at 3 p.m.

CYPRESS — Junior Troy McClanahan scored 13 points to lead the Eagles in a pool-play game at the Oxford Academy Tournament Wednesday.

Senior Mark Allred scored 12 points and junior Tim Neumann added 10 for Estancia (4-5).

The Eagles, who were outscored, 11-2, in the opening quarter, continue pool play tonight at 7:30 against tournament host Oxford Academy.
