Four Pirates recognized for women’s soccer skill

Orange Coast College freshmen Beth Krikorian and Teresa Warner have been named first-team All-Orange Empire Conference by the conference coaches.
In addition, freshmen Stephanie Brown and Brianna Vanderwal represent the Pirates on the second team.
Krikorian, a forward, led the Pirates with seven goals and totaled 15 points (two points for a goal and one for an assist), as Coach Kevin Smith’s squad finished 4-12-3, 4-9-3 in conference.
Warner, a defender, had one goal and one assist.
Brown, a Corona del Mar High product who played midfield, had two assists in 2007, while Vanderwal, a defender, had one goal.
