OCC jumped over the halfway marker this week by collecting $250,000 on route to raising its goal of $500,000 to expand its book collection.
The Associated Students Board approved the donation which moves the fundraising up to $342,000 after OCC’s Foundation received $10,000 from the Orange County Teacher’s Credit Union early this month.
OCC opens it new library Jan. 3 and the building will immediately becomes the school’s largest structure. The college is still asking for donations. For more information, call (714) 432-5126 or go to orangecoastcollege.edu.
