Holiday block party
Shops in the 1200 block of South Coast Highway will host a holiday block party from 6 to 10 p.m. There will be live music, food, and great deals on gift items will be found throughout the block. The Black Flamingo, 1257 S. Coast Hwy., is sponsoring a Toys for Tots Christmas Raffle, with many prizes. Flamingo road reopening
Laguna Beach city officials will cut the ribbon at noon to reopen Flamingo Road, closed since a 2005 landslide. A reception will follow. Toys For Tots party
The Saloon, 446 S. Coast Hwy., will host their fourth annual Christmas party benefiting Toys for Tots from 5 to 10 p.m. Admission is one unwrapped new toy, which can be exchanged for a ticket to the opportunity drawing. Prizes will be given away all night and include donations from many local merchants. Hors d’oeuvres and drink specials will be available. Seniors preschool luncheon
