Support elementary school at holiday boutique
Newport Heights Elementary School parents are inviting you to shop for a good cause Friday at their holiday boutique on campus.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the school’s multipurpose room patrons can peruse items from more than 25 vendors.
This is the third year the Newport Heights Foundation has had the boutique, with 10% of the proceeds going to the foundation.
The foundation is currently working to improve technology in the school’s classrooms to help support the teachers’ lessons, said event organizer Julie Rutter.
For the first time organizers are also collecting new coats and unwrapped toys to benefit needy families in the Newport Heights area.
