South Coast Plaza still taking Thanksgiving reservations
Those not inclined to cook on Thanksgiving can still make reservations at one of South Coast Plaza’s four restaurants that plan to serve a holiday dinner Nov. 22.
The mall has Thanksgiving dinners scheduled at Leatherby’s Cafe Rouge, located in the Orange County Performing Artscenter’s Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall; at the Clubhouse, located in the regular mall; and at Pinot Provence and the Savannah Supper Club, both located nearby on Anton Boulevard.
Prices range from $20 to $38 at Leatherby’s, $22.50 to $46 at Pinot Provence, $20 to $40 at the Clubhouse and $13 to $50 at Savannah. Each meal consists of multiple courses. Visit the events calendar at www.southcoastplaza.com for information on all four meals.

Computer company CEO to headline UC Irvine series
Ed Coleman, the chief executive of the Irvine-based computer company Gateway Inc., is scheduled to discuss innovative leadership in the global economy as UC Irvine’s business lecture series kicks off its third year Tuesday.
Coleman, a 30-year veteran of the computer industry, held leadership positions for Arrow Electronics and CompuCom Systems before moving to Gateway in 2006.
He is the first headliner in this year’s Distinguished Speakers Series at UCI’s Paul Merage School of Business, which brings four executive-level speakers to campus per year.
Coleman is set to speak at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the campus Student Center. Admission is $50 for the general public, $25 for Merage School alumni and free for UCI students, faculty and staff. Call (949) 824-2728 for reservations.
